I don’t know why but I just can’t get Stairway to Heaven and Wish You Were Here out of my head. I just can’t.

Thanks Sukhbir – I also agree with your comments regarding Oasis…They are great! Noel Gallagher is a legend and an amazing song writer, actually I prefer his voice over his brother Liam. Try listening to His songs ‘Little by Little’ & ‘Sunday Morning Call’…Very Nice!
And as for Pink Floyd, OMG did you see the reunion at Live 8 – Freakin Amazing!!! – It would be a dream come true if they could all tour together.
I am going to see U2 play in a few weeks, Can’t wait – Another great Rock band.

Hey. You are right Leash. Noel Gallagher is no doubt one of my favourites. His voice is unique!
I did hear bout the Live 8! But I can’t see it cause in India, they don’t show good things. And anyways, very few people can appreciate Progressive Rock.
U2 is also good. Especially, Stuck in a Moment!

I need to say one thing, Wish You Were Here was not written about a girl so therefore it is not a romantic song.
The lyrics could be romantic, but it’s actually written about Syd Barrett.

By the way, here’s my top ten:
1. Stairway To Heaven – Led Zeppelin
Honestly, probably the best song of all time.
2. Us & Them – Pink Floyd
I had to choose one Pink Floyd to go second and since DSOTM was their best album, Us & Them made sense.
3. Helter Skelter – The Beatles
The Beatles were amazing, don’t deny it. Helter Skelter in my opinion was their most rock n’ roll song from any albums.
4. Back In Black – AC/DC
Back In Black, need I say more?
5. Won’t Be Fooled Again – The Who
In my opinion, their best song.
6. Achilles Last Stand – Led Zeppelin
Epic song, it’s like 10 and a half minutes, and the guitar is amazing. Jimmy Page has also said it’s his favourite song.
7. Comfortably Numb – Pink Floyd
Amazing song, amazing solo. Also one of Floyd’s most recognizable songs.
8. Tom Sawyer – Rush
I love Rush. They’re simply amazing. Not to mention the fact that Neil Peart was the greatest drummer of all time. He was. You know he was. So do I. We all know he was. YOU KNOW HE WAS.
9. Wish You Were Here – Pink Floyd
Sad song about Syd Barrett. Not as complex as other Floyd masterpieces, but amazing song. I love the 2 guitars in it. (Even though both parts were played by David Gilmour.)
10. Black Dog – Led Zeppelin
Hard to choose from what Zeppelin song to put in, but Black Dog has an amazing riff.
That’s how you make a list. Ask me again in a week and it will have changed. But that’s it for now.
King Crimson’s Larks’ Tongues In Aspic, Part II almost made the list aswell.
